Tattletail is a short first-person horror game that involves a toy of the same name. The main goal is to ensure that this object does not get into trouble before Christmas Day. If it is discovered, a demon known as "Mama Tattletail" will hunt the player down.

At first glance, the characters associated with this game seem rather innocuous, such as those in 5 Nights at Shrek's Hotel. However, things soon begin to change when the player realizes that alerting Mama Tattletail will result in a truly horrifying first-person experience.
